ÜBER TOMMY 

Aufgewachsen im Tessin , teilte sich Tommy den Übungsraum mit Gotthard ( dazumal noch Crack) und begann die ersten Schritte als Rock Gitarrist.  

In den 80er Jahren machte  sich Gitarrist Tommy  in der Rockszene mit  leidenschaftlichen Auftritten einen Namen. Er tourte mit  Glam Rock Bands wie Blind Date ( naher Oxido) in Italien, Schweiz und Deutschland. Nach einen Plattenvertrag mit Polygram verließ Tommy die Band und hängte die Gitarre an den Nagel für ganze 10 Jahre den der Druck und Erwartungen ( die in den 80er sehr hoch waren) lasteten schwer auf Ihm. Nach 10 Jahren 2007 ruft Ihn sein damaliger Sänger um in die Cover Band Hardway einzusteigen, jedoch nach ein paar Jahren gründete Tommy seine eigene Band, arbeitete an Songs und so entstand 2010 das Album “Fly little Angel” von Glam Black ( Glam Black - Rock - Mx3.ch) Danach die Auswanderung in die Philippinen . 2015 dann die Rückwanderung und der Einstieg als Gitarrist und Sänger in der Tanzband von seinem Cousin Party Exxpress  seit da an spielt Tommy regelmäßig für Hochzeiten, Geburtstage und Dorffeste im Duo oder Trio. Doch die Leidenschaft für Old School Rock n Roll lässt Ihn nicht los, so spielt er als Alleinunterhalter  die Musik der 80 er für Motorrad Clubs, Pubs, Geburtstage und Rock Events. Cover's von Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses, Journey, Judas Priest bis Roxette und vieles mehr sind in seinem 3 Stündigen Programm enthalten.  Enjoy the old Times Rock n Roll mit Tommy

My dear Filipino friends, the time has come: our first album together is finished. After years of back-and-forth with files, vocal parts, and keyboard and drum parts, we have finally managed to integrate the parts into the songs. Why now after 5 years? I’ll give you an honest answer: technology and AI made it possible. Of course we didn’t want a perfect album, so some small mistakes were intentionally left in.

A special thanks to Toni  from Manila for his powerful voice. When I first saw this young man, I thought to myself, can he sing? Thank you, Toni, for bringing Joselyn , your cousin, on board as well. She is not only an Asian beauty and model; she plays the keyboard parts and piano parts and she is a great singer  . She is a true musician through and through. Toni and Joselyn  both live in the USA and work there to support their families in the Philippines, which is why Toni wrote the song Pilipinas  and Joselyn  the very sad melanchonic Song Balik sa Bayan showing her angelic voice. Toni and Joselyn are singing on 2 Songs in Duo , Pilipinas and  Togheter we`ll rise" 

Thanks, Mike, for your drum parts. I already got to make music with you in 2014 when I lived and worked in the Philippines. You’re a great person, always there for everyone. Your experience and rock ‘n’ roll attitude are simply wonderful. Stay as you are, I m proud to be your Friend.

I wrote the song Heavy Rain  with you and another musician to remember the victims of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) caused massive devastation in the Philippines at the time, with thousands of deaths; we remember them because many of our friends and family members lost their lives. The Song “ See you in Heaven ” I have wrote it for my Brother and Cusin  Chris who died in 2024 at the age of 58 ,he was my music mentor and we had a lot of fun playing music together 10 long years.  ( RIP Christian Gmeiner 1966 - 2024 )

And why the name SLEEXX, some wonder. It’s not Tommy’s surname—his name is Streitler. But Sleexx was invented by Mike and Tommy in 2014 in Manila during a drunken evening. Well, back then Tommy would sometimes drive to visit clients in Batangas, taking the Manila–Batangas route via the SLEX, the South Luzon Express Way. Somehow we thought it was funny to add two X and two E to make the name sound like Glam Rock, and so  it has nothing to do with the highway anymore. Now we hope you will enjoy the album and stream it faithfully and often; only then, with the earned money,  we will print a CD and send 100 copies to Mike in Manila, or better yet, I’ll personally bring them. In this sense, keep on rocking, guys. Salamat Po.
